Comment: "That's a pretty cool song. I like the structure of the song and the lyrical message.

If you were going to go commercial with this, I would recommend the following:

1. Clean up the vocal phrasing and add a little more personality to how you are singing.
2. Add some more instruments. Maybe not for the intro or first verse, but something to thicken up the rest of the song and introduce some dynamics.
3. Take a drink of water. I can hear your mouth smacking in the third verse, just after the 3 minute mark.

The harmonies and backing vocals are all really cool."

Comment: "Production quality is fair to okay. The mixing is pretty vocal heavy, needs some better balance, especially with percussion barely audible. There is some white noise or something throughout.

Vocals are okay. I think your vocalist has some good foundation and it seems that he has a good vision, but sounds a little like the guy from Coldplay. There are some spots where he's off pitch enough to notice, but not jarringly so. There is plenty of personality in the vocal delivery, but some of the falsetto parts are a bit cheesy, at least to me. The lyrics don't really fit the cadence of the songs, for example "It's on my fingertips" obviously has one syllable more than there are beats in the melody, which puts the singer in a bad predicament.

The keyboard playing is good. The tone of the keyboard, though, is a little artificial. Maybe a better piano patch or some software to warm it up would do some good.

The lyrics are written okay. I think I get what you are trying to get across, but I think it's been done a lot before, in similar ways, so it might come across that the lyrics are a little bit trite.

Overall, this isn't bad at all, just a lot of room for improvement, in my opinion. Nothing really stood out good or bad, and in a world of a billion and one musical artists fighting for our attention, I think it's going to be rough unless you have something to help you stand out in a positive way. I think people might forget about this song after they listen to the next one, unfortunately."

Comment: "I like this song much better than your other song. It sounds more melodious and the chorus is kind of catchy too. I did not like the male background vocals though. Or maybe lower it a bit more. Other than that, enjoyed listening to this song."

Comment: "I like the music in this song. Intro is good. Music has a lot of variety to keep it interesting. The vocals sounds a little pitchy at some parts though, when you sing "What I say". There is also not enough melody or hook (vocals wise) in the song to make me want to listen to it again. Although this is not a genre I usually listen to. I am sorry but that's how I felt about the song. Please don't take my word too seriously and hear what others have to say."

Comment: "Very nicely put together. For some reason, the vocals actually give off a bit of a 70's-Pink-Floyd-John-Lennon-ish vibe, which works really well for the song itself.

I have the feeling drums were added either via MIDI or electric kit. It's just something about what they're playing that doesn't help drive this song to the next level. It makes the structure feel a bit flat. Overall, though, it is a good space-out type of song, but it just feels like there's something lacking a bit to push it where you might want it to be."

Comment: "I'm not a big heavy metal fan & this song starts out as a heavy metal song. And then it turns into a rap song... which is another genre I dont personally care much for. But holy hell, it manages to turn itself into a good song about 1/3 through. Good job on the guitar work! Good job on the drums! Good job on the chorus vocals!

Hell good job on the rap for that matter!

I guess if it were me, i'd dump the jigga-jigga guitar at the intro & outro & try to find some way to book-end it with a more Peter Gabriel-ish sound like works so well in those choruses.

Also the rap bits seem like they'd benefit from a DMC-style backing vocal dropping in on key phrases... double up your vocals on "flip" for example.

Maybe not."

Comment: "Cool, original, creative. I like it, but I do think overuse of reverb and delay obscures the lyrics beyond recognition and obscures the creative counterpoint. Also, with all of the voices and tracks, point-of-placement could be wider, more separated. But I think that even could be mitigated without all of the reverb reflections and delays that don't spatially match the point-of-placement of the tracks effected. very talented, creative, cool artist(s)

I say all this because I feel this is good enough to spend the time doing so."

I liked this song also. Is the female voice recorded or it's a sample?

Comment: "Very smooth guitar work. I love the transition from the intro... excellent smooth tempo change. Also the production work is top-notch, good tonality for the piece... too much treble would've ruined it.

If i -had- to make some changes... i'd bring the bridge in a little earlier... the song starts feeling repetitive & interest starts to wane. Hmm, maybe rather than moving the bridge.... just a small flare or skip-stoppy or something."

Comment: "Dude you are on the right track. I really like your sound. Very well done! One thing i could see being better is the chorus it kind of loses its mystique in the those sections. Everything else is great! Sound a little bit like the Dire Straights mixed with Nirvana. "
